Cuetec Cynergy (Carbon Fiber Composite)

The Cynergy is Cuetec's flagship shaft, a carbon fiber composite built around a proprietary poly-foam core that produces wood-like sound and feedback at contact.

Military Grade Carbon Fiber Filaments

Multiple plies of resin-impregnated unidirectional carbon fiber filaments, each 7 micrometers in diameter, are precisely oriented and heat cured to produce zero net displacement. The shaft is perfectly straight out of the box and will never warp, swell, or respond to humidity or temperature changes.

Proprietary Poly-Foam Core

At the center of every Cynergy is Cuetec's ultra high density polyurethane foam core. This is the detail that separates the Cynergy from other carbon fiber competitors, it produces prescribed flex and a wood-like sound at contact, restoring the feedback carbon fiber construction typically eliminates.

Flyweight Front-End Construction

The poly-foam core terminates five inches below the tip, creating a rigid near-hollow cavity in the front section. This dramatically reduces front end mass, the primary driver of cue ball deflection, without sacrificing structural integrity.

Elongated Pro Tapers (Per Diameter)

The 12.5mm uses a 15.5-inch super-straight taper. The 11.8mm uses a 9.6-inch elongated taper. The 10.5mm uses a hybrid-conical taper optimized for multi-disciplinary play on large tables and heavy cloth. Each taper is designed for its specific diameter rather than adapted from a one-size-fits-all template.

Thin White Sighting Ferrule (0.25")

A lightweight 0.25-inch white ferrule that reduces front-end mass, aids aim contrast and depth perception, and supports standard tip maintenance without specialized tools.

Tiger Sniper Soft/Medium Tip (Standard)

A 10-layer vacuum-laminated leather tip naturally cured for over a year before installation. Available in 10.5mm, 11.8mm, and 12.5mm across nine joint configurations, including Uni-Loc, Radial, 3/8x14, 3/8x10, 3/8x11, 5/16x14, 5/16x18, Mezz United, and Mezz Wavy.

Cuetec Avid (Fiberglass-Bonded Maple)

The Avid takes a fundamentally different approach, starting with vacuum-sealed maple and bonding an ultra-thin layer of glass fiber to the exterior using Cuetec's patent-pending front-end construction.

The Avid uses vacuum-sealed maple as its core material, wrapped in an ultra-thin layer of glass fiber bonded directly to the surface using Cuetec's patent-pending front-end construction process. The glass fiber layer stiffens the front section of the shaft and reduces front-end mass without changing the fundamental feel of wood at contact. For players who want to stay with a wood-based shaft, this is as close to carbon fiber low-deflection performance as maple construction allows.

Pro Taper (Three Diameters)

The Avid uses a Pro taper across three tip diameters, 11.75mm, 12.25mm, and 12.75mm. The Pro taper maintains a consistent diameter for an extended section from the tip before gradually widening toward the joint, producing a familiar, consistent feel regardless of bridge length. The three diameter options let players match the Avid closely to the tip size they're already comfortable with.

Tiger Everest Layered Medium Tip (Standard)

Every Avid ships with a Tiger Everest layered medium tip installed as standard. The Avid is a more accessible price point than the Cynergy, though it is only available in the 3/8x14 Cuetec joint, making it exclusively compatible with Cuetec cues. If your cue uses a different joint, the Cynergy is the Cuetec shaft that fits.
