The Predator REVO is the most advanced shaft in the Predator lineup, a full carbon fiber composite shaft engineered for players who want the lowest deflection, highest radial consistency, and best hit-to-hit repeatability available in a pool cue shaft. Over two decades of development and testing went into the REVO, and it shows in every detail: ultra-light front-end mass, a low rate of rising taper, and carbon fiber construction that won't warp, swell, or change with humidity. Available in three tip diameters, five joint configurations, and both white and black vault plate finishes. Every REVO shaft sold at FCI Billiards is backed by Predator's limited lifetime warranty. What Makes the REVO Different

The REVO's performance advantages over traditional wood shafts come from specific engineering decisions, not just the material change:

Ultra-Light Front-End Mass

Front-end mass is the primary driver of cue ball deflection. The REVO's carbon fiber construction allows Predator to dramatically reduce the mass in the front section of the shaft, the part closest to the tip, without sacrificing stiffness or durability. Less front-end mass means the cue ball squirts less when you apply english, so your aim translates more directly to the result.

Low Rate of Rising Taper

The REVO uses a pro taper that maintains a consistent diameter for an extended section from the tip before gradually widening toward the joint. This gives you the same feel regardless of where your bridge sits on the shaft, short stroke, long stroke, same feedback. The low taper rate also contributes to the shaft's stiffness at impact, improving energy transfer to the cue ball.

Radial Consistency

Wood shafts can have minor grain variations that affect how the shaft responds depending on its rotational position, a subtle inconsistency that compounds over a long session. Carbon fiber is radially consistent by nature, meaning the REVO plays identically regardless of how the shaft is oriented in your hand. This is one of the most meaningful differences between carbon fiber and wood for players who are working on replicating their stroke.

Warp-Resistant, Weather-Independent Construction

Wood shafts respond to humidity and temperature, a shaft that plays perfectly in winter can feel different in a humid summer pool hall. Carbon fiber doesn't absorb moisture or change with temperature, so the REVO plays the same in every condition. No seasonal adjustments, no conditioning, no worrying about leaving the cue in a warm car.

Joint Configurations and Vault Plate Options

The REVO is available in five joint configurations to fit a wide range of cues, in both white and black vault plate finishes:

Uni-Loc

The standard Predator joint, compatible with all Predator cues that use the Uni-Loc quick-release system. If your cue is a Predator, this is almost certainly the joint you need.

Radial

5/16x14

A common joint specification found on many mid-range production cues from brands like Joss and Schon. Check your cue's specifications before ordering if you are unsure.

Found on Meucci cues and a range of other production cues. One of the most widely used thread specifications in the industry.

Common on McDermott cues and a range of other brands. If your cue uses a 3/8x10 joint, this configuration makes a REVO upgrade possible without changing your butt.
